Recent Developments in Telangana’s Dharani Land Map Survey

The Telangana government announced the launch of a new initiative to survey farms in the state on February 21. After the survey, the government will digitalize the land records for the surveyed land. According to published estimates, the govt. will finish the project in two years and cost between Rs 600 and Rs 700 crores. The state’s land records documentation procedures are governed by the Telangana Survey and Boundaries Act of 1923.

Launch of the Dharani Portal – Missing Village Records from Dharani, Revanth Reddy.

As part of the Ritu Rachabanda program on Monday, TPCC President A, Revanth Reddy, visited the home of Kummari Yellavva in Lakshmapur Village in Shameerpet Mandal of Medchal District. According to the TPCC chief, the Labour Minister utilized the justification to purchase a sizable tract of land in the community.

The whole Lakshmapur village’s revenue records are not available on the portal, even though this was the village where Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao launched the portal, according to TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy shows the hollowness of the Dharani portal.

He said this is the situation in the area, which the Chief Minister also embraced. He spoke at the Rachabanda event at Lakshmapur village in Shameerpet Mandal of Medchal district. According to him, neither the revenue map for the community nor the 3,145 acres in the village are listed on the site.

Additionally, 582 farmers were unavailable for Rythu Bandhu benefits. They were not covered by Rythu Bima because they lacked passbooks or account numbers. He declared that this was a serious social issue and that farmers could not marry off their daughters as the crowd of farmers and villagers cheered.

Other Details

Mr. Reddy cited a lack of data in the Dharani land map portal. It was done as justification for his accusations that local MLA and Labor Minister M. Malla Reddy had purchased land from underprivileged farmers. As a result, the Minister recently purchased more than 500 acres by coercion.

Mr. Revanth Reddy also went to Kummari Yellamma’s run-down home. He went to the place where the entry was so low it required her to crawl inside practically. He said that the Chief Minister’s Yerravalli farmhouse was the cause of the problem. Further claimed that the CM didn’t even have the heart to give the needy woman a new home.

To expose the “shamelessness” of Minister Malla Reddy and the government, he claimed to have called the District Collector. He also threatened to build a new home for her if the government didn’t respond within a week.

He stated that the new income records system that will replace Dharani after Congress takes office from Lakshmapur village. It will be done while outlining the key points of the Warangal Declaration. He further declared that he would start a probe into Mr. Malla Reddy’s family’s real estate transactions and land grabbing claims.
